PICS: STARS GO GLAM IN SPARKLES AND STATEMENT DRESSES AT GLITZY STYLE AWARDS

Ireland's celebrities did not come to mess around at this year's VIP Style Awards where more is more seemed to be the motto of the evening.

Everyone from presenters such as Karen Koster and Anna Daly to influencers including Carol Byrne and models such as Thalia Heffernan stepped out in their best looks.

Erin McGregor was among the first to arrive at the InterContinental Hotel in Dublin with her daughter Taylor. The ladies both looked striking in barely there outfits, with Erin showing off her figure in a semi-sheer pearl dress over a bodysuit.

Also committing to the sparkle was Louise Cantillion who posed up a storm on the red carpet in a shimmering Helen Cody dress from her spring/summer collection which she accessorised with a pink bag.

Louise slicked her hair back for the glamorous night out and added a couple of bracelets, letting her dress do all the talking.

Laura Fox the MC for the nigh was another star who embraced a statement look, rocking a metallic dress that she borrowed from her friend who had previously worn it at a Halloween party. The dress is too good to only be worn once!

Style Fairy Naomi Clarke also shimmered her way along the red carpet, wearing a full-length glittering dress with a high neckline and long sleeves. She added a pink bag for a splash of colour.

Influencer Carol Byrne rocked her beaded two-piece at the Style Awards which boasted padded shoulders and a semi-sheer material.

It wasn't all sparkle on the night though with many people going for bold and bright dresses with ruffles and layers aplenty.

Rosanna Davison stood out from the crowd in a bespoke dress by Ginan at Goldenstitch.ie with black detailing around the top. She slicked her hair back to complete her look.

Kathryn Thomas told EVOKE that she wanted to go big with her look this year and was channeling Nicola Coughlan from Bridgerton with her red dress from Nádúr Designs in Navan. Fabulous!

Talking of ruffles, Anna Daly embraced the frill on Friday in her top from Karen Millen which she paired with black trousers.

Another standout look was Pippa O'Connor's Isabel Marant dress with a plunging neckline which she accessorised with gold open-toe heels and a mini bag.

Glenda Gilson was another star who went for full glam in a fitted Paul Costello dress with a plunging neckline. She added a pair of heels and carried a small Chanel bag for an added touch of style.

Anyone else want to dig out their best dress and get all glam for a night out now?
