COLEEN ROONEY'S SON ACCIDENTALLY REVEALS LIFE-SIZED WAGATHA CHRISTIE PICTURE

Just when we thought we'd seen the last of the Wagatha Christie saga, a new behind-the-scenes shot has thrown the story wide open again thanks to Coleen Rooney.

The picture in question was a harmless snap from one of Coleen's sons who wanted to promote new merch he received but accidentally shone a light on his famous mum's take on the case.

Kai, her eldest son with football star husband Wayne Rooney snapped a picture of the new items he received from a clothing brand, displaying them on the couch in the family living room, and posting the pictures to his followers.

What he doesn't seem to realise is that in the background was a life-sized, framed picture of Coleen's British Vogue cover after she famously won her libel trial against Rebekah Vardy.

The cover shows her draped in a cream trench coat, the kind traditionally worn by private Investigators in film and TV and in the very tongue-in-cheek text describes her as: 'wife, mother, detective, superstar.'

After accusing Vardy of selling stories about her to the press, Coleen was famously crowned Wagatha Christie but the war of wives between the pair soon descended into a legal battle that rumbled on for years and was finally resolved in Coleen's favour.

Throughout it all she had kept a dignified silence over the court proceedings.

After Rebekah was ordered to pay her reportedly £1.8m legal bill, she described the case as a nonsense situation that got out of hand.

It was a pathetic reason to go to court, I wish we could've settled it. The money was absolutely ridiculous and I might not get all my money back,' she said in her Disney+ documentary: Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story.

At least she has her magazine cover for now.
